Webster Technique for Pregnancy Care and a Safer, Easier Natural Birth The Webster Technique reduces intrauterine constraint and allows baby to get into the best possible position for birth. It is recommended for all pregnant women as part of their pregnancy care to facilitate a safer, easier natural birth. In expectant mothers presenting breech, there has been a high reported success rate of the baby turning to the normal vertex or cephalic position. The Webster technique has also been successfully used where babies presented transverse and posterior during pregnancy.
